THE BAND

Slopeside has been performing Colorado's Front Range since 2005 establishing an ever-growing name for themselves in the mile high music scene. The music of the band consists of an energetic blend of rock, blues, reggae and pop. They’re not only known for performing ear pleasing covers, their original songs are catchy and moving.

Nederland native, front man and guitar player Arn Current, brings his powerful song writing to a band ready to capture his creative influences. The bands rhythm section is handled by steady handed drummer Norris Jones & solid bassist Trish Bontz, both stemming from Northern Colorado. The brilliant harmonies and beautiful vocal leads of Karen Current become a part of the music itself. Being the youngest member of the group, lead guitarist and keyboardist Cody Culver brings his modern influence to the band.

Their self titled debut album was released in Aug 2009, they released their second album “Road to Oblivion” in Feb 2011. Slopeside is currently back at Coupe Studios in Boulder, CO working on their 3rd project with hope to release the new works in late 2012.

Having been described as “A Band with a Big Heart”, Slopeside takes great pride in getting involved with as many charity benefits as we can. Having a cancer survivor in the band, our benefit work tends to focus more towards fund raising for cancer care and cancer awareness.
